EU inspectors to visit fishing farm in Pinsk

The authorities in Brest have invited inspectors from the European Commission to visit the Palessie fishing farm and check whether it is in line with EU standards.
If the inspection is successful, the farm will be able to sell fish into EU member countries. The Belarusian government has tried to stimulate local producers to look for other markets. The Palessie fishing farm, experts suggest, has a good potential as an importer of fish products.
