European Union not to interfere in gas quarrel of Belarus and Russia

The President of the European Parliament Jerzy Buzek has claimed it in an interview with RIA “Novosti”. According to him, similar crises have already occurred to Belarus and Ukraine. EU representatives arrived in these countries and could evaluate the situation in an unbiased way. Buzek has noted that the European institutions do not interfere in the relations between the two states – it is up for Russia and Belarus or for Russia and Ukraine. The European Union will not take part in the settlement of the conflict.

Buzek has also expressed an opinion that the gas quarrel between Minsk and Moscow will not affect gas supplies to European states.
