EU's Council of Ministers to discuss sanctions against Belarus
The European Union's Council of Ministers is expected today February 22 to hold consultations in Brussels on possible sanctions against Belarus in respond to the Polish parliament's request to react to the arrests of Polish minority activists in Belarus, reports Radio Svaboda. Numerous detentions and persecution of the members of the unofficial Union of Poles took place in the town of Ivyanets last week.
