Ex-presidential candidates are in KGB pre-trial detention center
The ex-presidential candidates detained on December 19 during the mass protest action in Minsk are now in the KGB pre-trial detention center. The KGB representatives informed their relatives about this on December 20.
Uladzimir Nyaklyaeu, Andrej Sannikau, Vital Rymasheuski, Mikalaj Statkevich and Ales Mikhalevich are in the KGB detention center. Ryhor Kastusyou and Dzmitry Us were also transported there after the action, but released later, on December 20.
A journalist Iryna Khalip (Andrej Sannikau's wife), Nyaklyaeu's representative Aliaksandr Fiaduta, and the head of Rymasheuski's HQ Paval Sieviarynets are also there.
The KGB refuses to comment on the situation, states BelaPAN.
