The faithful to hold a picket in defense of liberty of conscience in Minsk on June 8
An appeal for a picket in defense of liberty of conscience in the park of Friendship of Peoples near Banhalor Square on June 8 has been sent to Minsk City Executive Committee. The appeal was sent by the co-leader of the steering committee on creation of the party “Belarusian Christian Democracy” Alyaksey Shein.
“The rights of the faithful are violated in Belarus. – thinks Mr. Shein. – Foreign clergymen are being deported from the country while the local ones suffer from fines for the so-called unauthorized services”.
The picket will continue for 2 hours. Up to 100 people will participate in it.
