False bomb alert at a market place in Homel

Unidentified people in Homel have alerted the police at least twice over the past three days, saying the the city's central market place was mined. The first threat came in by telephone on Thursday, and another threat followed on Saturday, reports ONT. The work of the market place was yesterday paralized for two hours, when security agencies evacuated over 7000 customers and vendors. Demolition experts checked the area but found no explosives.
