First liver transplantation conducted on teenager in Belarus
The patient was a 16-year-old boy. He poisoned himself with a death-cup and his liver stopped functioning.
The boy was in a deep coma for several days. A donor was found on the fourth day and the liver was transplanted. At the moment doctors say that the patient’s condition is satisfactory, reports BelTA.
