Foreigners suggest food tours to Ivanava district (photo)

A traditional coulinary festival "Motal Delicacies" took place in the village Motal of Ivanava district. Its participants were offered to try traditional food of Palesse, to drink real home-brew alcohol, to buy local bread and ham and to eat bullion on the bank of Jaselda river. This year the event attracted guests from the Ukraine, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Sweden, Denmark, Israel and the USA. An original village with its culture and traditions, as well as the everyday life of the local people, caught the attention of the foreigners. Some of them even suggested organizing food tours to Motal.

It is worth mentioning that the festival was conducted for the third time. This year it received financial aid from the mutual project of the European Union and the Program for Development of the UNO "Sustainable development at the local level".

Motal is one of the biggest villages in Belarus, its population amounts to 4,5 thousand people.
