"Gazprom" confirms that Belarus has paid for May gas supplies
"Beltransgaz" has paid for May supplies of Russian gas. The sum totaled more than $260 million which corresponds to the contract. “Gazprom” has informed about it today, on June 23. RIA “Novosti” informs that the sum was calculated by “Beltransgaz” according to the contract on gas supplies signed on December 31, 2006.
At the same time, “Gazprom” claims that “Beltransgaz” has to pay the debt for Russian gas supplies to Belarus accumulated starting from the beginning of 2010. The debt is $192 million.
