Głos znad Niemna na Uchodźstwie editor-in-chief on trial in Hrodna

Irena Valyus, the editor-in-chief of the Polish-language newspaper Głos znad Niemna na Uchodźstwie is expected to stand trial in Hrodna on March 26. She is charged with taking part in an unauthorised street actions in solidaroty with the activists of the unofficial Union of Poles in Belarus led by Anzhalika Borys.

It is yet to be known who will preside the hearing. Independent journalists and civil society activists are expected to attend the hearing to support the editor.
