Government sends delegation to probe Armenia plane crash
A delegation led by Vadzim Melnik, the director of Aviation Department at the Ministry of Transport of Belarus, has been dispatched to the Armenian capital Erevan to investigate the cause of the accident that crashed a Belarusian airliner early this morning, the Ministry of Transport told the European Radio for Belarus.
A Canada-made SRJ-100M operated by the Belarusian national airline, Belavia crashed in flames when taking off from the Zvartnots airport in the Armenian capital. Luckily, three crew members and 18 passengers survived, but four people were admitted to local hospitals, Armenian officials said.
