Gryzlov wants new Russian parliament to "deepen" integration with Belarus

“The task of deepening the Russia-Belarus integration will remain one of the prioroties for the members of the 5th State Duma (the lower chamber of the Russian parliament)”, Boris Gryzlov, the speaker of the Russian parliament and the chairman of the parliamentary assembly of the Belarus-Russian union today said in a statement.  The parliamentary elections in Russia will take place on December 2. On November 13 the 32nd session of te parliamentary assembly of the Belarus-Russia union will also be held. Gryzlov believes that "the initial stage of the union state's bulding has been completed", reports the Russian news agency Ria-Novosti.
