Head of European Parliament’s delegation on connections with Belarus is changed

A Polish deputy Yatsek Protasevich has been elected new head of the European Parliament’s delegation on connections with Belarus. He is a member of the “Civil Platform” party. The post used to be occupied by Bahdan Klih, the current Minister of Defence of Poland. Pratasevich says that lowering the price for Schengen visas for Belarusian citizens and creation of a joint EU and US strategy on supporting democratic opposition during the parliamentary elections in the spring of 2008 are his top priorities.
