Hockey: Belarus beats France in friendly match

Belarus ice hockey team took a hard victory over France in the friendly match in Grenoble.
Yaraslau Chuprys scored an equalizer on 44 minutes to make it 1:1. No goals were netted in the overtime. Dzmitry Myaleshka scored the winner in a bull-it session.

On Tuesday, Belarus will play a friendly match against Norway, which is also gearing up for the World Championship that is to kick off on April 24 in Switzerland. In the first round Belarus will play in Group A against Canada (April 24), Slovakia (April 26) and Hungary (April 28). Three top teams from each group will qualify for the next round, reports Belta.
