Hockey: Dinamo Minsk signs 10 internationals
Dinamo Minsk new coach Marek Sikora from the Czech Republic has chosen 32-year-old American Robert Ash as the No 1 goalkeeper. Belarus goalie Andrei Mezin did not have his contract extended with the Minsk side. The list of those leaving the team also includes Oleg Antonenko, Alexander Makrritski, Sergei Zadzyalyonov and Swedish forward Jonas Andersson.
As expected, Dinamo Minsk have signed Russian Maxim Spirodonov, Konstantsin Glazachev and Slovakian Joseph Stumpel from Barys Astana. Canadian forward David Nemirovski is also leaving Barys for the Minskl side. Dinama have also signed Czech forward Marek Kvapil from Vitkovice. He recently became the 2010 World Cup champion.
