The Holiday of Spring
Belarus is today traditionally celebrating the International Women's Day. On March 8 women are offered special attention from men. They receive gifts and flowers. This year, even the weather is good, when we can enjoy a sunny spring day.
Beginning from March 8, both the Belarusian women and men will have four days off, but the shops and other trading businesses will continue running.
According the Minsk City Hall, groceries, department stores and markets will work as usual on March 8-11.
