Homel city executive committee against agitation materials on automobiles
Homel city executive committee considers it unacceptable to place agitation materials in support of the presidential candidate Uladzimir Nyaklyaeu on automobiles, informs BelaPAN.
This is stated in the official response to the appeal filed by the civil activists Ales Jauseenka and Kanstantsin Zhukouski. They filed this appeal to allow them to place agitation materials on automobiles in the end of November, and they got the response only on December 16, 3 days before the presidential election.
The response says there is a decision which enlists all the places for agitation, and automobiles or other vehicles are not included thereof.
At the same time Kanstantsin Zhukouski drove the agitation car around the city for nearly a month, and participated in the agitation auto-rally from Homel to Minsk.
