Homel police refute the fact of fight started by neo-Nazi
Homel police do not confirm the fact of a mass fight started by neo-Nazis.
Let us remind you that information about a mass fight between youth groupings that took place in the city on July 2 appeared yesterday. 60 people were said to have taken part in it.
About 30 neo-Nazis armed with sticks, bats and knives attacked the same number of young people returning from a rock concert. One of the fighters, a 25-year-old guy, was wounded in his chest with a knife.
The head of the information and public relations department of Homel Region Department of the Interior, police lieutenant colonel Ihar Hryshkevich commented on it for ERB:
"I cannot confirm this information, because I do not know whether they were neo-Nazis. According to my sources, it was a regular fight, not a mass one. One person was taken to hospital with traumas. It was a mutual fight. So, we cannot claim that there were groupings”.
Іgar Hryshkevіch confirms that the person who wounded the guy with a knife is arrested. A criminal case has been started against him.
