Human rights activists: about 400 people detained during protest action in Minsk
About 400 people were detained during the protest action in Minsk on December 19, informs BelaPAN referring to human rights defenders. The majority of the detained were delivered to Minsk City Executive Committee Infringers Isolation Centre. They are standing trial today.

Office equipment and media were confiscated. Ten people were detained. Policemen explained their actions by the fact that “they were looking for things that could be connected with a crime”, said a human rights activist Ales Byalyatski in an interview with journalists.
