Israel to keep tourist visas for Belarus nationals

The abolition of tourist visas for the Russian citizens could positively influence on the resolution of this issue with Belarus, Israeli ambassador in Minsk is quoted by the official news agency Belta. However, this issue "is not on agenda" in talks with Belarus, the ambassador said.

Some 4-5 thousand of Belarus nationals visit Israel annually. In 2006, almost 5000 Israelis came to Belarus.
