Journalists even from China and Venezuela to cover presidential election

1025 journalists have already been accredited to cover the presidential election on the main voting day on December 19, in the informational center. The informational center is located in the Palace of Republic and will work for 24 hours without breaks. The head of the National Press-center Ivan Sakalouski has informed about this.
Ivan Sakalouski: “670 foreign mass media arrived in total. 420 foreign journalists have obtained temporary accreditation in our Ministry of Foreign Affairs, 250 have steady accreditation in Belarus. Apart from that, 355 Belarusian media have been accredited. Thus, 1025 journalists in total have been accredited to cover the presidential election in our info-center”.

As for geography, Sakalouski said that the journalists had arrived from 50 countries of the world, and they are not just CIS countries, Europe and the US, but also China and Venezuela.
