Kraska's ancient palace on sale near Vaukavysk (photo)

The mansion with a park is located in the Vaukavysk district, Hrodna region.  During the Soviet times, it accommodated a secondary school and a rehabilitory center later. There are ancient forests around and a stretch of the river undamaged by irrigation.

In 2002, the palace was awarded the 2nd category of the historic and cultural heritage (on a scale between 0 and 3). But the government found no money to restore the site and put it on sale. 

Local authorities currently offer the mansion and the plot (7 ha) for 300 million rubels, but no potential buyers have registered yet.
