Kyrgyzstan happy that Russia stopped buying trolley-buses from Belarus
Belarus-made trolley-buses are popular in Kyrgyzstan. Bishkek's deputy mayor Valery Kornienko said the vehicle can be bought at preferential conditions thanks to the economic crisis.
"Russia and other western countries have stopped buying trolley-buses from Belarus. Therefore, Minsk is entering new markets and sell the veihcles into leasing", Kornienko noted.
The 24 news agency reports that Bishkek authorities have received the Belarusian trolley-buses into leasing for three years. It costs $3 million.
