Lawyer Paval Sapelka tries to release Sannikau and Sieviarynets through court

The lawyer of Andrej Sannikau and Paval Sieviarynets Paval Sapelka has filed a complaint to the Central district court of Minsk, reports BelaPAN. The complaint contains the request to abolish the pre-trial restrictive measures in the form of detention against the presidential candidate Andrej Sannikau and the head of the presidential candidate Vital Rymasheuski's election HQ Paval Sieviarynets.

The lawyer thinks they should be released.

The decision on using pre-trial restrictive measures in the form of detention against all the 19 suspects in mass disturbance criminal case has been taken on December 23.
