Leaders of EU diplomatic missions to Belarus are urging to release “Belarusians imprisoned for their civil activities”.
It is said in the press-release distributed by the Slovak Embassy to Minsk - a local representative office of the European Union.
European Ambassadors have urged the Belarusian authorities “to respect human rights and the civil rights of Belarusian citizens” and to stop “repressions against the civil community”.
The document says that “positive development in this direction will accelerate the establishment of a comprehensive cooperation with European partners”.
