Lithuanian authorities urge businessmen to be careful about Belarus

Lithuanian businessmen are cautious about the prospects of business in Belarus. According to Baltinfo, the deputy Minister of Economy Arnoldas Burkovskis has claimed it. The Belarusian deputy Minister of Economy Pyotr Zhabko talked to journalists several days ago. He assured them that our country was on the way to free market and was creating favourable conditions for foreign businessmen including improvement of privatization opportunities in order to attract more foreign investments.

In his turn, the Lithuanian official claimed that Belarusians have announced that they are improving business opportunities but a lot of such facts are ambiguous. In Burkovskis’s opinion, Lithuanian citizens planning to run business in the neighboring country should use the opportunity to get acquainted with the official authorities’ position and to get to know about the problems of those who have already had  a chance to work in Belarus.
