Lithuanian businessmen to spend 65 mn euros to build factories in Belarus
The Lithuanian holding UAB "Vakaru medienos grup" (VMG) plans to build several wood-processing factories in Belarus . The businessmen are ready to spend a total of 65 million euros, reports BaltInfo. The owners of the holding said that the Belarusian authorities had approved the proposed investment project. A bid for the contractor will soon be announced. The construction is expected to begin in the summer of this year.
The production complex will be bult on 30 hectars in the Mahilyow region. The new factories are planned to launch their products in early 2012.
