Lukashenka confirms intention to develop cooperation with European Union

Alyaksandr Lukashenka has confirmed the interest of Belarus in mutually beneficial partner relations with the European Union.
The President has met the Foreign Minister of Spain Miguel Moratinos and expressed a hope that the Spanish Minister will be able to see the way Belarus is heading in during his visit to Minsk.

In his turn, Moratinos has passed “the best regards from the King of Spain Juan Carlos I and the prime Minister” to Lukashenka.  He noted that Belarus had a chance to establish relations with the European Union that would be a good as relations with Russia.
