Luxemburg may demand money from Russia

The visit of the Russian President to Luxemburg may be darkened. According to the “Kommersant” newspaper, the country’s authorities are going to demand the tsar’s debts from Russia – bonds belonging to the Nass family.

The edition thinks that the response to any demands for the Russian Empire’s debts from Luxemburg will be like that: all the debts were annulled by a decree in 1918 and Russia, being an assignee of the USSR, is not obliged to pay out those debts.
