"Malady Front" leaves UDF because of Kalyakin, young people support Milinkevich

"Malady Front" has left the United Democratic Forces and has withdrawn its representatives from the UDF. The decision was taken by the 6th Council of the organization. The deputy head of the organization Nasta Palazhanka informed ERB about it:

"Young people and “Malady Front” are disappointed with the UDF. The main reason for it is that there is no leader we could follow. Our leader is Ales Milinkevich and we are planning to continue supporting him. However, Kalyakin, a communist, is demonstrating his great leadership qualities in the UDF and is going to become a candidate in the future presidential election campaign. We cannot support him because it contradicts out cultural and Christian values”.

The Council has chosen a new administration. Zmitser Dashkevich was elected head of “Malady Front” while Artur Finkevich, Ivan Shyla and Nasta Palazhanka became his deputies.

At the same time, “Malady Front” has initiated the creation of “a right bloc of democratic organizations”.

This is what Nasta Palazhanka says: “We will urge all sound forces of the democratic movement to do it and we are hoping that Alyaksandr Milinkevich will become the head of the right bloc”.
