Martens: These actions insult European Union
The head of the European People's Party (EPP) Wilfried Martens has made a statement about the events in Minsk in Brussels today, informs BelaPAN. He said that the violent suppression of “opposition candidates and peaceful demonstrators” by the Belarusian authorities was sad and unacceptable. The events “insult the European Union and the democratic world”, - claimed Martens.
