Martynau: “Eastern Partnership” projects should be realized quicker
The realization of “Eastern Partnership” projects should be organized in a quicker way. The Belarusian Foreign Minister Syarhei Martynau claimed it in Brussels.
Foreign Ministers of member states of “Eastern Partnership” have met their colleagues from EU member states and a number of European officials in the Belgian capital on Tuesday. One of the main issues mentioned by Belarus was simplification of the visa regime for Belarusians.
Syarhei Martynau also noted that our country had approved about 20 potential joint projects on December 8. They concern different fields of cooperation.
Syarhei Martynau: "The letter includes about 20 projects of regional importance. They concern energy, energy stability, transport and transit, especially the modernization of the corridor Vilnius-Minsk-Kiev and other transport corridors. We also discussed border management and infrastructure and talked about projects connected with our common culture and historical legacy”.
