Maxim Mirny goes down by four positions in ATP rankings
A Belarusian tennis player maxim Mirny has gone down from the 14th to the 18th position in the ATP doubles rankings. This is the sportsman’s worst position since August 17, 2009. Mirny made it to the final of a big tournament in Miami (together with Indian Mahesh Bhupathi) last week. However, BelaPAN notes that Mirny lost points because he was the winner of the tournament (with Israeli Andy Ram) last year. At the same time, Bhupathi has risen from the eighth to the seventh position: he dropped out of the tournament in the first round a year ago (with Mark Knowles from the Bahamas).
