Memorial tablets in Pinsk streets become Belarusian (photo)

Pinsk authorities have decided to replace old memorial tablets with new ones created according to one design. Part of the money Pinskers made during a subbotnik last year was used for it. Memorial tablets in Pinsk are dedicated to communists and sailors who died trying to liberate the city from fascists. Interestingly, the old inscriptions were all in Russian and the new ones are made in Belarusian.
