Milinkevich continues tour across nation despite police pressure
Police officers on Tuesday attended a meeting of Alexander Milinkevich, the leader of the For Freedom movement, with public activists in the town of Ivyanets, Valozhyn district in the Minsk region. The police seized the brochures titled "What Can EU Give Belarus" and copied the passport details of around two dozens of the present activists. The agents said they were checking paspsorts in a private venue "in order to prevent possible crimes".
According to Alexander Milinkevich, such actions by the police will not prevent him from touring across the country and meeting people, reports Belapan.
