150 residents of the Selhaspasyolak neighborhood in Minsk have set up a group to push for a local
referendum. The initiative is aimed at forcing local authorities to recon with
homeowners' interests in the process of private homes demolition.
Local
officials ignored invitations to attend the group's first meeting.
