Monument to 1812 war heros, ordered by Vladimir Putin, can be erected in Polatsk

A 180-tons monument to the heros of the 1812 war between Russia and France can be erected in the Belarusian city of Polatsk this year.
Respublika newspaper reports that the project will be funded from the budget of the Belarus-Russia union state. The monument ordered by Russian premier Vladimir Putin, will be constructed by the companies in Polatsk and Minsk.
