“Movement Forward” quickly liquidated to exclude Nyaklyayeu from presidential race?
The board of appeals of Minsk Economic Court has not satisfied the appeal of the previous decision to liquidate an educational research organization “Movement Forward”. The board has taken the decision today, on November 10. Let us remind you that the “Tell the Truth” campaign functions in the framework of “Movement Forward”. The leader of the campaign Uladzimir Nyaklyayeu has told ERB that the organization’s lawyers are preparing to appeal the decision about the liquidation. The appeal is planned to be sent to the Supreme Court.
The decision should be appealed within a month. However, Nyaklyayeu thinks that “Movement Forward” will not be given much time. According to him, “Movement Forward” got liquidated on November 10 on purpose because Nyaklyayeu will go to the Central Election Commission to present documents needed for the registration of his candidature tomorrow. Presidential contenders have to indicate their place of employment among other things there.
Nyaklyayeu: "According to this formal court reason, they can read my questionnaire and say that I has indicated a wrong place of employment or, to be precise, that I have deceived them… It is enough to remove me from the list of potential candidates”.
