Note written by missing Belarusians found in Karelian forest
Russian rescuers have found a note written by the three Belarusian tourists who had disappeared in a Karelian forest. The Karelian Ministry of Emergency Control informed that the Belarusian women wrote they were heading south. They were also leaving marks on trees.
Rescuers are following in the tracks of the tourists now. Let us remind you that the women went to gather berries and did not return at the end of last week.
The tourists were part of the group of 11 Belarusians going down the river Nuhcha in Belamorskii District. The women are being searched with the help of a helicopter and several groups of rescuers and local inhabitants.
The Belarusians disappeared 6 days ago.
