Open CIS finswimming to take place in Minsk on December 5 and 6
The CIS Open finswimming championship “CIS Cup - 2009” will take place in Minsk on December 5 and 6. 18 teams will take part in the competition – more than 260 Belarusian and Russian sportsmen, reports BelTA. Belarus will be represented by sportsmen from Minsk, Navapolatsk, Zhlobin and Minsk Province. They will compete in three age categories: born in 1990 and earlier, born in 1991-1992 and born in 1993 and later.
Competitions of the kind will be held in the country for the third time. The first finswimming competition took place in December 2006.
