Opera Theatre will return to its repaired building this year
The National Academic Grand Opera Theatre will return to its repaired building at the beginning of 2009. The director of the theatre Valery Hedroits informed about it.
According to him, the reconstruction of the building of the Opera and Ballet Theatre has been in process for three years. The troupe has been performing on other stages all this time – in the Central Officer House, Belarusian State Philharmonic Society and Palace of Republic.
Hedroits informed that the troupe would be able to return to the repaired building in October or November. The stage and the auditorium will be ready to function a bit later.
