Organizers expect to see at least 2000 participants of Freedom Day action
Traditionally, the celebration of the Freedom Day in Minsk will not be crowded. The head of Minsk city affiliate of the BNF Victar Ivashkevich has explained to ERB that the organizers expect to see the people who took part in the action last year. According to the activist, there were about 2000 of them.
Victar Ivashkevich: “It is difficult to predict the number – we can only say there were 2000 participants last year. I think the people will not leave Minsk. The same people who came last year will probably come this year too”.
According to the activist, the programme of the celebration will appear on the evening of March 16. The Council of the United Democratic Forces has already supported the celebration that will take place on March 25. However, the people who have already claimed about their desire to run for President have not given any comments yet.
