OSCE experts to arrive in Minsk to investigate Byabenin’s case on October 26
OSCE experts will arrive to take part in the investigation of the death of a journalist of “Charter’97” Aleh Byabenin on October 26, reports BelaPAN. A pathologist and criminalist from Norway and Sweden used to be expected to arrive on October 25. It was informed earlier that the main part of the materials of the investigation of “Byabenin’s case conducted by the Belarusian police has been translated into English. Translators hired by the OSCE will continue working because experts may demand some other documents at any moment. The possibility of exhumation is not excluded either if it proves to be necessary.
The term of a prosecutor’s checkup of Byabenin’s death has been prolonged until November 3. The complex expertise of the body of the decedent has been finished partially.
