The OSCE Chair Lithuania has started non-formal consultations aimed at resuming Minsk OSCE office's work. This was informed by the organization's official web-site with a reference to the Lithuanian Foreign Minister Audronius Ažubalis, reports BelaPAN.
"I deeply regret that the Belarusian authorities failed to prolong the mandate of the OSCE office in Minsk, — the diplomat said. — The OSCE Chair will work with Belarus and other OSCE members in order to resume the organization's important work in the country. We have started non-formal consultations to find a decision which would be acceptable for everyone".
