Owners of big automobile centre sold cars illegally
Owners of a big automobile centre in Minsk (the official dealer of Suzuki) are suspected of a financial machination.
The ONT channel informed about it on the news on July 28. According to investigators, they have been evading customs duties registering cars and motorbikes imported in Belarus for dummies for four years.
The car dealer did not import a single car in Belarus from 2002 till 2006. However, cars were being sold regularly. The investigation reveled that the suspects registered cars for dummies and then sold them in the car centre.
15 cars of the kind have already been found. The state lost about 350 million roubles only due to those deals. The investigation continues. The culprits may be imprisoned for up to six years, reports ONT.
