Petrol price increases on August 6

The “Belnaftahim” concern has charged new wholesale prices for oil and new retail prices for mineral oil sold by its subordinate organizations at filling stations. The concern had to introduce those unpopular measures in connection with the increase of the custom duty and the price of oil. It was also done to preserve the appeal of working at the internal market of the Republic of Belarus starting from August 6, 2007.
New retail prices for oil have increased by 4.7% on average. Petrol А-76 (Normal-80) now costs 1600 BRB per litre (+70 BRB in comparison with the old price), АІ-92 – 2020 BRB (+90 BRB), АІ-95 – 2310 BRB (+110 BRB), diesel oil – 1610 BRB (+ 70 BRB).
