Picket in support of Belarusian political prisoners takes place in Zurich
The Swiss human rights initiative Libereco has conducted a picket in support of the Belarusian political prisoners in Zurich, informs the web-site of Libereco. About 30 people - representatives of the Swiss pen-center, the International Civil Service of Switzerland, CODAP and YES (Young European Swiss) held portraints of the arrested politicians and civil activists, including the members of the "Young Front".
The Swiss activists also lit candles in commemoration of the December 19 events and the imprisoned people.
