Police confiscate “Electric Train”
The police detained an activist of a civil campaign “Tell the Truth!” Ivan Hamarka in Homel yesterday. About 100 issues of the “Electric Train” newspaper printed by “Tell the Truth!” especially for summer residents were confiscated from him, reports Radio Liberty. Policemen delivered the activist to Soviet District police office and claimed that they would take away the newspaper as it had been printed in Penza instead of Belarus. Policemen are going to check whether “Electric Train” contains appeals to overthrow the government or to unleash national hatred.
Policemen delivered Ivan Hamarka home where they confiscated another 150 issues of the newspaper.
