Police helped people to vote for "right man" in Slutsk

Mikhail Pakhabau, the opposition's coordinator of election monitoring in the Minsk region, today voiced several election violations. Pakhabau: "In the Slutsk constituency No 74, police officers were helping voters who came to vote early to vote for the "right man". This occurred in Gymnasium No 1 (Polling Station No 7) and at the polling station No 29 located in the Central Library. Our monitors filed complaints".

According to Pakhabau, such "services" were also offered to voters by members of elecion commissions in the Pukhavichy and Zhodzina districts. Those cases were recorded. In Barysay, residents of a dormitory at the BATE factory had to register with the dormitory administrator that they had voted early.

In the Lahoisk constituency No 67, the election commission denied information on the results of the early voting to MP candidates. In Pleschanitsy, a PR action was organized for a pro-government candidate. Together with the local offcials, he attended the launch of a gas pipeline in the town.
