Police Major shoots himself near kindergarten in Minsk

The body of a police inspector was found at a sports yard near a kindergarten just several dozens meters off the Savetski District Police Station in Minsk.
The official version of the tragedy is yet to be revealed, but witnesses say that the police officer shot himself into the head. He served in the police force for over ten years, reports regionby.org.

Interfax-West news agency reports that the district prosecutor's office has opened an inquiry into the matter.
